Who needs BowFlex?

Despite putting on Tex-Solv string heddles to lighten the load, weaving on the big loom is an athletic activity. I am getting in a weight bearing workout when I weave. Lifting five harnesses at a time combined with the resistance of the warp threads gives a mighty fine burn in the calves and thighs. Pulling on the heavy beater works the biceps and triceps. Combine this with a good weaving rhythm you have a great cardio and strength building workout.

Of course any chocolate you consume afterwards might undo all of your good work…
